THE ENTIRE World War II From The German Perspective | Documentary in PURE COLOR

World War II was the most devastating conflict of the 20th century and left deep scars on all peoples who participated. However, the complete history has rarely been told from the German perspective, with color images that bring back to life a past marked by pain, propaganda, and destruction. This documentary proposes to look at the events through the eyes of German soldiers, civilians, and leaders, showing how they lived each stage of the conflict from their own territory. The narration begins with the euphoria of the rise of the Third Reich and the apparent invincibility of its army in the early years. Germany believed it was destined to dominate Europe, driven by a regime that promised glory and national unity. In full color, we see the marches, the speeches, and the military advances that seemed to confirm that illusion. However, behind each victory were hidden the first signs of wear and internal tensions that would soon take their toll. As the conflict progressed, the German vision was transformed. The invasion of the Soviet Union, the failure in Stalingrad, and the constant allied bombings showed the population that the war was not just propaganda or easy triumphs. The color images reveal cities in ruins, families fleeing bombings, and exhausted soldiers on an increasingly hostile front. The German perspective was no longer that of a conquering people, but that of a nation trapped in a total war. The documentary culminates with the fall of Berlin and the absolute devastation of the Reich. From the German perspective, the end was not just a military defeat, but also a moral and social collapse. Through visual testimonies and historical reconstructions, the viewer will discover how Germany went from exaltation to collapse, in a story narrated with unpublished and vibrant images that bring color back to a past that still marks the European memory. The Vietnam War Explained In 25 Minutes | Vietnam War Documentary

The Vietnam War began in good faith, by good people with good intentions. But a combination of American overconfidence, Cold War tensions and imperialist tendencies the Americans had previously fought so hard against, made the war in Vietnam one of America’s darkest pages in its short but dense history. By the end of the war, more than 58,000 Americans would die, as too would 250,000 South Vietnamese soldiers. Over 1 million North Vietnamese soldiers and Viet Cong guerillas would also perish as well as over 2 million civilians’ from both the north and the south, and thousands more from Laos and Cambodia. Get a Huge Discount on NordVPN’s Ultimate Security Package Here ➌ https://nordvpn.com/thelifeguide It's risk-free with Nord's 30-day money-back guarantee! The Vietnam War brought everything into question. The rationalization of destroying villages in order to save them. America’s morality in the face of My Lai. The meaning of free-fire zones, shooting anything that moved as soldiers placed a cheapness on the lives of civilians. The falsification of body counts to increase kill death ratios. The unimportance of battle as men charged up hills because their generals told them too and after losing one platoon or two platoons they marched away to leave the hill for the enemy. Pride allowed the most unimportant battles to be blown into extravaganzas because America couldn't lose, and she couldn't retreat and because it didn't matter how many lives were lost to prove that point. The quality of life in Australia is in fact so high that it’s five major metropolitan urban areas; Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, all regularly feature in the top 10 of the Global Liveability Index, which ranks cities based on their levels of stability, healthcare, culture, environment, education and infrastructure. All of this culminates in Australia having one of the worlds highest levels of life expectancy, with males expecting to live to an average of 81.30 years of age and females to an average of 85.40 years. This marks Australia, alongside neighbouring New Zealand, as clear outliers in terms of life expectancy when compared to the levels of other nations in the southern hemisphere, where in some instances barely exceed the age of 50. However, Australia hasn’t always enjoyed such high levels of life expectancy, nor any other measures of human development for that matter. Just over 150 years ago, in 1870, a new-born child was only expected to live to the age of 34 on average and just a few decades prior to that, the livelihoods themselves of many Australians consisted of little more than carrying out hard, arduous labour in a harsh and unforgiving environment. That is because for much of Australia’s early history, the country was governed as a penal colony for British convicts, who were transported to the far side of the world to lay the foundations of the first European settlements there. But how did this country change to such a degree, going from a place where people were sent to be punished, into a place where many aspire to live today? This is the history of Australia.

The ENTIRE History Of The Vietnam War | 1862 - 1975 (Documentary)

The Vietnam War Documentary. Support the channel by buying me a coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/theentirehistory The history of the Vietnam War encompasses a complex series of conflicts spanning much of the 20th century, rooted in Vietnam’s long-standing struggle for independence and shaped by the global tensions of the Cold War. The region that is now Vietnam has been inhabited for thousands of years, with early states such as Văn Lang and Âu LáșĄc forming the foundations of Vietnamese civilization. For over a millennium, Vietnam was under Chinese rule, though distinct cultural and political identities gradually developed during periods of resistance and partial autonomy. Vietnam gained full independence in the 10th century under the NgĂŽ dynasty and maintained its sovereignty through successive dynasties until French colonization in the mid-19th century. The French established control over much of Southeast Asia, forming French Indochina in the 1880s. During this period, Vietnamese resistance movements emerged, most notably the rise of the nationalist and communist leader Hồ ChĂ Minh, who founded the Indochinese Communist Party in 1930. Following Japan’s occupation of Vietnam during World War II, the country declared independence in 1945 under Hồ ChĂ Minh, leading to the First Indochina War between the communist-led Viet Minh and French colonial forces. The conflict ended in 1954 with the Geneva Accords, which temporarily divided Vietnam at the 17th parallel into a communist North and a non-communist South, pending national elections that never took place. The division set the stage for the Vietnam War, known in Vietnam as the Resistance War Against America. Beginning in the late 1950s, the North Vietnamese government and its southern allies, the Viet Cong, waged an insurgency against the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam), supported by the United States and other anti-communist allies. American involvement escalated after the Gulf of Tonkin incident in 1964, leading to a massive deployment of U.S. troops and widespread aerial bombardment. Throughout the 1960s and early 1970s, the conflict intensified. Major events such as the Tet Offensive in 1968 and revelations of atrocities like the My Lai Massacre eroded American public support. The war also prompted widespread protests and social unrest in the United States and beyond. After years of intense combat, peace talks, and a gradual withdrawal of U.S. forces under the policy of "Vietnamization," the Paris Peace Accords were signed in 1973. Despite the accords, fighting continued, and in 1975, North Vietnamese forces captured Saigon, bringing an end to the war and unifying Vietnam under a communist government. The conflict resulted in the deaths of an estimated 2–3 million Vietnamese and over 58,000 U.S. soldiers, leaving deep physical and psychological scars on both nations. In the decades following the war, Vietnam underwent significant reconstruction and economic reform, transitioning from a centralized planned economy to a socialist-oriented market economy in the 1980s. Relations with the United States were normalized in 1995. Today, Vietnam is a rapidly developing country, though the legacy of the war remains deeply embedded in its society, environment, and national identity. The history of the Vietnam War reflects a broader narrative of colonial resistance, ideological conflict, and the lasting human cost of war in the modern era. The most significant events of World War II come to life in this vivid documentary featuring original and colorized footage. 00:00:00:00 - The Gathering Storm: Just years after World War I, Germany and other nations are in an economic depression. Leader approval ratings of Germany, Italy, Japan and Spain are shallow, giving the rise to military dictators along with their parties. Years after Adolf Hitler becomes Chancellor of Germany, he and his generals plot the invasion of Poland. 00:51:40:22 - Lightning War: The Germans develop a new military tactic known as Blitzkrieg. The Nazis use Blitzkrieg, dominating land and air warfare, allowing them to take Poland and conquer France in matters of weeks. Britain and Canada, as well as other Commonwealth countries, declare war on Germany. 01:42:57:00 - Britain at Bay: July 1940, Britain is standing on its last legs while being pummeled by Germany. Though Hitler has better soldiers and a more powerful air force, critical errors of the Luftwaffe allow Britain to regain strength and start pushing back. 02:34:14:06 - Hitler Strikes East: After the unsuccessful attempt to defeat the British, Hitler focuses his attention on the Soviet Union. This proves to be quite a military gamble.
